Great info here. Dangerous relationships are becoming a subculture in our society. Why? Because the psycho-pathology is completely counter-intuitive and because the warning signs are hard to see.

I would add two things to this article.

First, the person most likely to turn out to be problematic or dangerous is almost always extremely appealing and desirable in the beginning. They are magnetic and irresistible. And, they have an uncanny ability to locate a target who is compromised.

Second, the relationship you can get drawn into by this sort of person is very difficult to get out of---your logic and intuition won't help you, well-meaning friends won't help you because you may be dealing with someone who is brain-damaged.

The most dangerous among us are actually brain-damaged. They are organically incapable of love and compassion. They also do not possess a conscience. They seek gratification, period. Beware!
