i have been friends with this gal for 10 years and recently we have started hanging out together quite often and having phone calls to one another every single day. i stay at her house on friday nights but i sleep in one of her kids rooms and the kid sleeps with her. we have deep kiss often. she says she just wants to be friends. but that is not the signal i am getting but i don't want to offend her and mess up the relationship we have. so i guess my question is "what do i do to get out of the friendzone?"

Okay well I'm not dating anyone but I thought someone could still help me here. I'm 16 and have never had a boyfriend, I have liked the same guy for the last 9 months. She explain to me that the guys she dated before me always took advantage of her and because that she has trusting issues. I told her that I have feeling hers, she reply by saying " I like you as a friend", but she still expect me to take her out to dinner , movies and lend her money. I'm interested in a guy, but not sure if he's actually interested in me. He gave me his number because of a home project we're both working on. He said to call any time. I called, I first time we talked for only a few minutes. 2nd call, I got vm & left a message w/my number. He hasn't called. I see him at work and we talk about the home project. But I don't want to seem pushy by calling. It would be nice if he called me. I'm just skeptical. I don't want to be the one who ends up asking him out, It would be nice to see him make an effort if he's interested. I'm thinking to just back off and leave it alone. I know guys can be a bit slow and hesitant of rejection, but how do they know their gonna be rejected. Should I back off, leave it up to him -or do little things to let him know I'm interested in him?
