Reasons Your Date May Not Be Ready For A Serious Relationship

People always have that great expectation of developing a more serious relationship with someone they are dating. But sometimes, the expectation just falls short for several different reasons. While some people may rely on intuition to determine whether to expect a bright relationship future with someone they are dating, there are also other signs they can heed that will indicate if someone is not yet ready for a serious relationship. Here are just some of them.

You are dating in secret.
Sometimes people like the adventure of trying to hide their relationship or dating habits with everyone they know. Aside from that being a mutual choice, dating in secret can sometimes also be a sign that your partner may not want others to know about you and your secret little relationship. Your partner may be avoiding introducing you to friends or family, even if you have already been dating for several months now. That may be a good indication that he or she may not yet be ready to start a serious relationship with you.

There is little or no conversations about the future.
After dating for a while, you may already be considering trying to take the relationship even further. You start talking about your future together. But then, you partner just seems to veer away from such talk or try to change the subject whenever that comes up. This may indicate that your partner may not yet be ready for a long-term relationship. This can be fine with other couples. But if you are at a stage where you are already thinking about long-term relationships and marriage, then you might need to think it over if your partner still feels uncomfortable talking about your future together.

Little effort is made to meet up.
Some people may find that a relationship may be going a bit too fast. One of their immediate reactions is to try and limit the opportunities to meet up. This can be a good sign that your partner may not be that serious when it comes to developing a relationship. If they do want to start one, then they should have made every effort to meet up as often as they can.
