Live In The Now

Whatever your relationship status is at the moment remember there are pluses and minuses. Not every married/attached person is happy and not every single/free person is unhappy. There will always be some people that will want to swap places!
There is joy to be had in being single as well as being attached.
If you decided to spend the bulk of your time focused on what you have instead of what you don’t have then your life becomes more enjoyable.
Positive people attract and negative people repel others.
Being desperate is not an attractive quality.
Just as banks are more likely to lend money to people who don’t need it so are people more likely to be attracted to others who are happy where they are.

I found this article on Shine,  in the article of Put Some  Fun Back into Dating

The article itself is a great read but I found this bit of advice worth repeating. It is time that we all just take a big chill pill when it comes to life and dating. The truth is, there are pros and cons with being single and with  being married.

Singles live with opportunities to do  whatever whenever they want. They can make a decision on the minute to make a weekend trip in Las Vegas. Singles can go shopping and not have a single person to answer to. Singles live with the excitement every day that the man or woman of their dreams may just show up at the grocery store, gym, gas station, Starbucks, or even the new addition to their company. Being single has so many perks that honestly, I am afraid I may just miss it if I was to ever get married.

Being married has just as many perks. Benefits of marriage starts with finally meeting the one who completes you, finding the man or woman you have searched so hard for. Other benefits include Sex, the excitement of starting a family, having a help mate in life, and the ever peaceful nights of having someone to go home to and have a shoulder that lay on.

Basically, there is a time for every season under heaven. Don’t take it for granted and never assume that the grass is greener on the other side. Just water your life with positivity and appreciation of every stage of your life and watch your own lawn seem more green and exciting!
