A disturbing news was recently reported in Fresno, California, as a 49-year-old man from Clovis got robbed by a female he was supposed to meet after an online date.
The 49-year-old victim, who was unidentified in the report, told police officers on January 31 that he met a 22-year-old woman through a dating site and agreed to meet her along Fresno’s West Barstow Avenue. That was when his date appeared along with another woman and a gun-toting man. The three took his wallet and demanded for the victim’s ATM banking number.
The male robber held the victim at gunpoint as the two women drove to three banks and withdrew money from his bank account. The victim was released after the three stole other items from his car. The man contacted the police and all suspects, including his “date,” were arrested in a span of one month. The three were recently charged with robbery, carjacking, kidnapping, and conspiracy.
